On 30 April 2024 in Brussels, Belgium, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, will take part in the informal meeting of the General Affairs Council of the European Union (EU).
Ministers will discuss the rule of law issues within the EU enlargement process and improvements to the toolbox for upholding the rule of law. The Ministers will also exchange views on the process of the EU’s adaptation to prepare the Union for the accession of new Member States.
