The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is a group of 36 member countries that was establishes in 1961.
The mission of the OECD is to promote policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world.
The OECD provides a forum in which governments can work together to share experiences and seek solutions to common problems. The OECD publishes economic reports, statistical databases, analyses and forecasts on the outlook for economic growth worldwide.
Latvia joined the OECD on 1 July 2016.
The OECD has become an integral partner on Latvia’s path to reform and improvement of our domestic policy work.
